- They have an amazing inhouse team. Being a Designer I was very particular about the set up; the ceremony seating plan, guests were seated in a specific order by their names, the reception seating plan alike, the finishes, the types of flowers and their shade colour, the lighting plan, the amount of lanterns and positioning. Working with their team was such a pleasure, special mention to Apple and Pam were very accommodating and kind during the entire process. They included all my requirements down to the last detail of my wedding moodboard document received and for that we have forever grateful. On the day of the wedding all the staff setting up had a hard copy of my document. It turned out better that what we envisioned; I might consider changing my career for this.
Cake was nice and moist, we couldn’t decide which type of cake, so I requested that they accommodate both the bride and grooms favourites, we had a tier of red velvet and tier of chocolate mousse cake finished with ivory fondant and gold detailing. Having this option also gave our guest more of a variety and pleased everyone.
For Food, We selected the western Menu offered by the hotel.
Appetizer; Smoked salmon salad, Entrée, Sirlon Steak served with glazed vegetables and rustic garlic potatoes, Dessert; Classic Crème Brulee as well as red velvet and chocolate cake.
As we were not able to do a tasting weeks before the wedding, due our different locations, we met the chef 4 days before the wedding, and he prepared what our chosen option
There was no need to change anything, as everything was done with finesse including the plating this made us more excited and put us at ease.
They have an amazing massive powder room for the bride and squad to get ready on your big day. As gift from the resort our room was upgraded to the Honeymoon suite on our Wedding day and they prepared a very romantic floral arrangement when got back to our room that evening.
