If you’re looking for a unique Save The Date idea that will get your guests excited for your upcoming wedding, here’s an idea you’ll want to check out! Bride, Caren and groom, Kenny were looking for a Save The Date idea that truly represented them. The result? A TV Commercial Save the Date video that their guests fell in love with! See the video below and scroll down to read about how the couple came up with the idea:

From the Bride: “I was looking for a save the date concept that is in connection to what we do. I am working in Advertising as a Creative Director and my fiancé is a businessman importing and selling car parts from Japan, Thailand, and USA. The TV commercial-inspired idea shows that I am surrounded with art as an artist and him with car parts as a car enthusiast. The scene symbolizes how we support each other’s passion. Time also stops, representing how we love and cherish our moments together!”

How did you put the video together? Can you walk us through the process if other brides want to do the same? “Identify what you want first, then look for video suppliers who you think are capable of doing it. From our experience, we did not limit our video supplier to wedding suppliers. The production team who shot and did the post production of our video doesn’t do wedding videos. We told them to treat our save the date as if they were doing a TVC, and that's what they did. Have a sit down meeting with them and be open in sharing your ideas. Because you will never know, your idea may may start something brilliant or you may marry your fresh thoughts to their creative visions!”

What advice can you give to brides who are scratching their heads for a creative Save The Date idea? “Find a connection about yourself and your partner. The idea has to be all about the both of you. Sometimes it all starts with one crazy silly idea and great things happens next, so better take time to talk and brainstorm with your partner.”
