Photos were taken at the beach across the road. We loved the whole industrial meets urban feel of the venue, but also how the café and beach part made it seem like a destination wedding. So in just one main location it felt like we were taking our family and friends on a really special experience. A journey. Early on I felt nervous and stressed. We had overseas family and friends all come from so far to gather in one place just for us. It was a BIG deal. We were surrounded by all the people we love the most in this world. Truly amazing!
Christine from ‘Workshop weddings’ and my Mum helped me with all the planning. They supported me with all the details we so easily forget about. My flowers were amazing!!! They had everything and more than I could have dreamed for and all from a little local florist in Wan Chai. The florist’s name is Harmoni and the lady that owns the place and makes all the arrangements is called Fandi. We had so many amazing photos, and were extremely lucky to have 3 of the best photographers in HK all there to shoot on the day. Behind the scenes shots and professional. These are my favorite shots because they show our true happiness and a family union. The speeches at the dinner, and all the love that surrounded us, were such magical moments.
Advice for brides-to-be
Take your time. You know what you want. Be open to ideas, but trust your gut feeling. Trust that no matter what happens before the big day it will all work out just the way you planned, if not better. Be open! There will be things that may go wrong, but do not let that get to you. Your family & bridal party have your back and will take control. Just be in the moment. It’s your day.
