I’m super excited to share with you guys today the last part of my wedding journey - our last wedding celebration in Taipei that happened a couple of months back! Planned and styled once again by my Weddings by AT team, I just got the photos and film not too long ago, and I was so happy that both Milk and Honey Studios and Lula Films did such a great job capturing the day. It was so hard to decide which photos to add to this article because all of them were shot so nicely.
Sticking to the idea of only wearing Asian designers at my weddings, I had 5 dress changes that day, starting with my wedding dress from Giorgia Couture which I wore at our Koh Samui wedding and then 4 other PS Officiel dresses designed by Philippine’s famous wedding and evening designer Patricia Saints. Each PS Officiel dress I wore was so stunning and I got so many compliments on the day. Many of my friends and family told me they’ve never seen dresses that made them ‘wow’ each time. To be honest, I actually was very hands off during the dress creation process. I just gave Patricia Saints the general idea of my wedding theme, told her to create whatever she wanted, and gave her all the creative power to ‘wow’ us.
I definitely need to give a special shoutout to Jeanie H Makeup team who successfully created 6 makeup and hair looks within the span of half a day, while still leaving time in between for me to enjoy the wedding and mingle with guests. With each artist trained super professionally, they not only had a great attitude throughout the whole wedding but were efficient beyond my expectations. Having worked with so many makeup artists in Asia, I definitely think they’re one of the best hands down.
Our wedding took place at Le Meridien in Taipei, one of my favorite venues in Taiwan because of the natural sunlight, the open space, and the neutral colors, which opens the venue up to many decoration possibilities. I knew I wanted something lavender, garden-like, soft, and elegant. The Weddings by AT team had the idea of a fountain filled with flowers in the main entrance and a harp playing as all the guests came in. I loved they idea so much and was so grateful that they found all the vendors to make it happen.
Our wedding favors were done by Wedding Shop World and coordinated by Chin Chin Weddings, who also helped with some of the on-day coordination. Our wedding invitations were also done by Wedding Shop World, which helped us design and then create an extremely difficult letterpress, gold foil combination with the highest grade of cotton paper.
Unlike the wedding in Koh Samui, this wedding was just to celebrate and have a formal lunch with all our family and friends in a less intimate setting. We were so grateful for everyone who came to celebrate with us and celebrate our new beginning.
