From Bride Jeeyoung: “A destination wedding in Phuket is not only tropical but lush! Not at all of the scenery is like that of Como Point Yamu Luxury Resort, which totally stood out from any other venue in Phuket along with its contemporary and unique design. Our favorite colors blush pink and marble gray seemed to perfectly match with the surrounding colors and peaceful enchanted atmosphere for a very romantic wedding. We got married over a breathtaking view overlooking Phi Phi Island on a cloudy day with a dramatic sky. Though it rained, we got a beautiful rainbow during our photoshoot!”

First off, how did you two meet? “April 2017, in Singapore, on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel. He proposed Outside Marina Bay Sands Hotel with a view of the Singapore skyline, down on his knee… of course!”

What kind of emotions did you feel throughout the day? “Nervous, excited, joyful… all together! A very special moment when I saw the guests and husband standing at the alter as we entered. Also, the beautiful rainbow right before sunset, it was a very special gift!”

Advice for future brides? “Stay calm, breathe, and remember that it will all come together on the wedding day! Enjoy every moment of your wedding day. Having a great wedding planner on your side will help you! We found WBP online and were impressed by their portfolio of weddings on their website. Ilaire was warm and genuine as well.”
