It was raining all week right before Sandy and David tied the knot in Nha Trang (Vietnam)- but when their big day finally came, the sun showed up and everything was perfect! Photographed by Duong Le, this all white wedding was simple and clean, featuring touches of blue and even some greenery down the aisle. This beautiful wedding is everything a bride wishes for when planning a small, intimate beach wedding, don’t you think?
From the bride: “We had all our friends and family around us and that made it very special. People travelled thousands of miles (from Canada, Cambodia, Hawaii, the US) just to come celebrate with us, which meant so much to us. The resort was amazing as well (we highly recommend it), our photographer got a lot of amazing candid shots, and all the guests enjoyed themselves. After our wedding, we travelled around Asia for another month. Altogether we were away for 6 weeks so its nice just to come home and relax.”
Flashback question: So how did you two meet? “We each had a friend that were friends with each other and met through them. It was at a BBQ during the summer 4 years ago. I thought he was very handsome and he thought I was very cute. And finally we fell in love with each other!”
What emotions did you feel throughout the day? We were very excited to see all our friends and family there. Some travelled very far (7000 miles) just for us, which meant the world to us. It was raining all week, but as you can tell from the pictures, the sun came up that day and it was perfect!
Any advice for future brides? “Your wedding is a big day of your life, so you should do what you please. Don’t forget to write down all the things that you want to do in your big day. Also, not everything goes your way, sometimes the professionals (the wedding planner) will have better ideas to make your day great, so put your trust into them and they can be great help!”
