When you plan to have your wedding in Sanya, you should be familiar about getting your marriage license. A civil marriage takes only less than an hour without ritual or ceremony. Whether you want a church wedding or a garden wedding, you have to obtain the appropriate application forms and fill them before your wedding day. If you’re not from China, you are given a special section to attend a meeting at the Civil Affairs Bureau, and submit your birth certificate, single status certificate and other pertinent documents. Once you’ve decided on your wedding venue, you can either book hotel rooms directly at the hotel of where your wedding will be or a nearby hotel. Either way, if you book enough rooms, you can receive a group rate or even a discount code for your guests to book their rooms. 8. What is the best time to get married in Sanya weather-wise?
Getting married in Sanya is not a problem when it comes to its weather conditions. You can pretty much have your wedding during any time of the year as the weather is warm until the winter months. Sanya is dubbed as the “Hawaii of Asia” as it enjoys good weather with an average temperature of 25 degrees C. Its highest temperature could reach to 28 degrees C in the month of June. However, it’s best to avoid getting married during May or September if you don’t want to take any chances.

It is important that you have an idea on how to get around in Sanya while you plan for your wedding here - both for you, your family, and your guests. While you can take buses, trains, or taxis, it’s best that you either hire a car with driver from the hotel or from your wedding planner. This saves time and isn’t too costly if you can get a good deal.
