From Bride Janus: “My husband and I were all very excited for our wedding because it was finally time to end our long distance relationship! He lived in Canada and I was in Hong Kong. I spent a year preparing for my wedding in Hong Kong with my parents. The main color tones we decided on were purple, white, and gold, and the entire wedding was created with musical elements.”
First of all, how did you meet? "I am a columnist and he is my reader. After reading my article, he took the initiative to contact me, and then we met in London."
What were you feeling throughout your big day? "We were all very excited because we were living apart for so long, and were finally getting married and ending this long distance relationship!"
Any wedding details that you were especially in love with? "Our wedding gifts for our guests! We gave our maple syrup to our guests which were especially made from a family store in Quebec."
Advice for future brides? "Set the theme and main color for the wedding early on. This will save a lot of time for the matching of the venue layout, snacks, bridesmaids dresses, etc."
