You knew this wedding was going to super fun when the bride dressed up in a dinosaur costume to greet her future husband and her father! The day progressed with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony that took place at Marriott Taipei’s garden lawn, which included a donut wall that you’re definitely going to want to save to your inspiration board. When the wedding party moved to the ballroom, that’s when things got exciting! The groom and his groomsmen took off their shirts and flexed their muscles for the bride and all her guests - very fitting since the bride and groom met at the gym. We love this wedding because the bride and groom weren’t afraid to do what they wanted for their wedding, scroll down to see what we mean!
From the bride: ““The theme of the wedding was designed around what my mother wanted. My mother liked pink, white, and bright green colors, giving of a very clean and fresh feeling. My mother passed away in high school so because of this arrangement, I felt like she was there with my, experiencing my joy."
Flashback question, how did you two meet? “We met at the gym when both of us were just doing our own workouts. He asked me if I needed any help with an exercise, I said “no thanks” but the rest is history!”
How long did the whole wedding take to plan? “The wedding took nearly a year to prepare.”
What emotions were you feeling throughout the day? “On the wedding day, whenever I was crying because I felt too emotional, my husband would take my hand and without saying a word, I knew he was telling me, “I will stay with you, you’re not alone.”
Advice for future brides? “If you don’t have time to plan, use a wedding planner! That will be your best investment for the whole wedding. Also, if you can, don’t plan a wedding on what your family wants. Do what you and your husband want. Otherwise, no matter how beautiful the wedding, it won’t be yours.”
